Dr Richard Sarsam

I was appointed as consultant gastroenterologist at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital in 2002 following completion of specialist training in gastroenterology and general internal medicine in the north and south Thames London deanery rotating between teaching hospitals and district general hospitals including the Royal Free Hospital liver unit, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital and the Royal Sussex University Hospital Brighton. I also spent 2 years in research at the academic gastroenterology department of Guys Hospital in London studying the relationship between bile acids, intestinal bacteria and gallstones

 

I have performed over 10,000 gastroscopies, over 10,000 colonoscopies and over 2000 ERCPs.
